Stage and screen actress who starred in the classic 1980s teen drama Some Kind of Wonderful and Chances Are in 1989. She later directed the 2007 film The Cake Eaters.
She studied anthropology at NYU for eight months.
Her first appearance was in 1975's film The Stepford Wives. Her real father played her character's father in the movie.
She married Jeremy Davidson in 2006, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2009. In 2011, they had twins. They welcomed their fourth child in 2012. Her mother was fellow actress Carlin Glynn .
Eric Stoltz co-starred with her in Some Kind of Wonderful.
