ABOUT MARK REED
American scientist who is known as a physicist who made contributions to the area of quantum dots and molecular electronics. He is also the author of more than 170 publications.
He earned a Ph.D. from Syracuse University in 1983 and gave a demonstration of the first quantum dot device at Texas Instruments.
He was elected a Fellow of the American Physical Society in 2003.
He comes from an American family and grew up in the United States.
Like him, Irwin Rose is a scientist who has worked as a professor at Yale University.
