Bassist for AC/DC who played on the albums T.N.T, High Voltage, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Let There Be Rock, and '74 Jailbreak.
He first met AC/DC when they were playing at the Sheraton in Melbourne; he was about to be thrown out by hotel security when AC/DC roadie Steve McGrath jumped in to help him.
Dismissed from the band three years after he started, he wrote a tell-all book called Dirty Deeds: My Life Inside/Outside of AC/DC.
He was born in Melbourne, Australia.
Evans was replaced by Cliff Williams in AC/DC.
