ABOUT MARK DAIGNEAULT

NBA head coach that was originally hired by the Oklahoma City Thunder as an assistant coach in 2016. A few years later, he would then earn the head coaching spot with Oklahoma City in November 2020. He was named the 2023-24 NBA Coach of the Year.

Prior to his coaching career, he attended the University of Connecticut . At the time, he worked as a student manager for the school's basketball team.

He once worked as a scout and assistant coach for Billy Donovan while at the University of Florida . He then worked with Billy Donovan in the NBA with Oklahoma City as well.

He grew up living with his family in the Leominster, Massachusetts area. He now lives with his wife, Ashley, and their family.

He coached Shai Gilgeous-Alexander during the 2023 NBA season.
