ABOUT MARK COHEN
Photographer best known for his work as a street photographer. His photos are unique for their innovative close-up style. He had a popular solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in 1973.
He attended Penn State University in 1961 and graduated from Wilkes College in 1965.
In 1975, he was awarded a National Endowment for the Arts grant. He also received Guggenheim Fellowships twice.
He was born in the United States.
He and Henri Cartier-Bresson are both famous for the innovations they made in street photography.
