ABOUT MARIO DUPLANTIER
Drummer best known as a member of the progressive metal band Gojira. In 2012, he was crowned the Best Drummer of Modern Metal by MetalSucks.
Gojira originally formed in 1996 as Godzilla. Two years later, he also formed the band Empalot which flourished until 2003.
Outside his musical skill, he is also an artist with skill in drawing and painting. He is particularly known for his surrealist paintings.
His brother, Joseph , is the vocalist and guitarist for Gojira.
Lamb of God's Randy Blythe was featured as a guest vocalist on the Gojira song "Adoration for None."
