ABOUT MARINKO STEVANOVIC
Yugoslav-born poet known for publishing his poems only in a free, online format. His works include Provincial Conversations, In the World of Dust, and Urban Conversations.
He took courses in astronomy at the University of Belgrade before graduating from the University of Tuzla's teachers' college.
His poems, which explore anti-war, anti-patriotic, and humanistic themes, have been translated into German, English, and Dutch.
He was born near Zvornik, Yugoslavia, and he relocated to Vienna, Austria in his early thirties.
He and fellow author Danilo Kis were both born in Yugoslavia.
