Former wrestler for WWF, WCW, and XWF, as well as a three-time winner of the WCW World Television Championship. He announced his retirement from wrestling in 2006.
He placed third in the Mr. New York State bodybuilding competition before pursuing wrestling.
He won four New York State boxing titles.
He married fellow wrestler Rena 'Sable' Greek in 1992. They divorced in 2004. He married Darlene Spezzi in 2009.
He openly criticized the wrestling industry for its lack of steroid regulation after the murder-suicide of Chris Benoit .
