ABOUT MARC DOLCE

Sneaker designer known for his extensive work with Nike and Adidas. He was the Global Director for Nike Sportwear until leaving to be Adidas' Creative Director in 2014.

He graduated from the Pratt Institute in 1997 with a degree in Industrial and Product Design.

When he and two other designers decided to leave Nike for Adidas, they were slapped with a $10 million dollar lawsuit for ferrying Nike designs to Adidas, but it was eventually settled out of court.

He was raised in Brooklyn, New York.

He was featured alongside other prominent sneaker designers like Ronnie Fieg and Tinker Hatfield in Sneakers, a bestselling book about the athletic shoe industry.
