She was born in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico.

She's also been a reporter for Mexican mass media conglomerate Televisa.

She was once married to Vicente Fernandez Jr. and after they split she revealed that he'd recorded her every move in the house they shared with a set up of hidden cameras and microphones.

She is the ex-daughter-in-law of singer Vicente Fernandez .
