ABOUT MANUEL LAJUD
Goalkeeper who has gained fame for his play in Mexico's top flight Liga MX. He signed with Club Tijuana in 2015, and earned his first Mexican senior national team call-up in January 2018.
He joined Cruz Azul's youth academy in 2009. He played for the U-17 and U-20 teams.
He contributed to the Mexican U-23 squad's runner-up finish at the 2015 Pan American Games. He previously won the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games with the team.
His family is of Lebanese descent.
He and Miller Bolanos have played as teammates for Club Tijuana.
