Manfred Kielnhofer

ABOUT MANFRED KIELNHOFER

Austrian painter, sculptor, and photographer best known for his project "The Guardians of Time," which were stone statues arranged in a ritualistic pattern. He and Martina Schettina were responsible for the Light Art Biennale Austria 2010.

He studied at the Technical College in Linz, from which he graduated in 1995. He founded Gallery Artpark in 2005.

He adopted the nickname KILI.

His parents raised him in the Austrian municipality of Haslach an der Mühl.

He and fellow sculptor Bernd Fasching were both born in Austria.
