She was discovered by a modeling agency at the age of fourteen in 1997. The following year, she would make her magazine debut.

She has dabbled in acting, appearing in the Japanese television drama The Last Cop.

She divorced MMA fighter Norifumi Yamamoto in 2009. They had three children together.

Both she and Rola gained fame as Japanese fashion models.
