Australian news presenter and journalist who is most known for anchoring Melbourne's Ten News at Five.
He started out as a television reporter for HSV-7 in 1970, where his first assignment was covering Cyclone Tracy, which occurred on Christmas Day.
He had a segment on the television station ATV-10 called Mal's Melbourne, which presented human interest stories to the community.
He has two adult children--twins--with Pauline Durham, who worked in the programming department at HSV-7.
His favorite sport is golf, the game for which Tiger Woods has won numerous awards.
