Cross-country skier and biathlete who won bronze medals in the women's 7.5-kilometer sprint and women's 15-kilometer at the 2002 Olympics.
She began competing as a cross-country skier in 1988.
She won women's 15-kilometer gold at the 2001 World Championships.
She married cross-country skier and biathlete Henrik Forsberg in 1996.
Goaltender Tommy Salo also competed represented Sweden at the 2002 Olympics, competing in men's hockey.
