Australian footballer known as the one-time captain of the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League.

He attended Marcellin College, where he played for the school football team.

He was awarded Player of the Finals in 2019.

In 2009, his sister Melanie was struck and killed by a motorcycle while walking. In 2019, he married Dani Orlando. They have a son named Oliver and a daughter named Georgia.

In 2018, he was awarded the Norm Smith Medal, which was previously won by Jimmy Bartel and James Hird .
