Mixed martial artist who made a statement in his UFC debut with a comeback submission victory against Maximo Blanco in 2016. He's fought at bantamweight and featherweight.

He started fighting professionally when he was 25 and went 10-0 in various smaller promotions before earning his shot in the UFC.

His nickname is "Cool Hand," an homage to Paul Newman 's Cool Hand Luke.

He grew up in Tennessee. He previously dated wrestler Becky Lynch after meeting in February 2016. He has a daughter named Riley.

His UFC debut came at UFC Fight Night 81: Dillashaw vs. Cruz .
