He has a twin brother named James Rodriguez who also appeared on Malcolm in the Middle.

He appeared at a Malcolm in the Middle cast reunion six years after the show ended along with Frankie Muniz , Bryan Cranston , Jane Kaczmarek and the rest of the TV family.
