ABOUT LUIS PIZARRO

Competed in the featherweight and bantamweight divisions, winning silver at the 1979 Pan American Games and competing in the 1980 Olympics.

He enlisted in the United States Marines after finishing high school.

After his boxing career, he got a job repossessing cars.

He grew up with his family in Puerto Rico.

Super bantamweight Wilfredo Gomez also competed for Puerto Rico in the Olympics.
