ABOUT LUIS CAMPUSANO

Professional catcher that was drafted by the San Diego Padres during the second round of the 2017 MLB Draft. He began his professional career playing for the Padres' rookie affiliate team the AZL Padres.

Prior to being drafted, he attended Cross Creek High School in Augusta, Georgia.

He made his major league debut playing against the Oakland Athletics on September 4, 2020.

His father, Genaro, is a former minor leaguer for the Pittsburgh Pirates ' minor league system.
