Former midfielder/forward who played for the Spanish national team from 1964 to 1972 and went on to have a long coaching career, most notably for Atletico Madrid and the Spanish national team.
He began his professional career with Getafe in 1957.
His last coaching job was with Fenerbahce during the 2008-09 season.
He was raised in Madrid, Spain.
He coached star striker Fernando Torres on the Spanish national team.
