Lucy O'Brien

ABOUT LUCY O'BRIEN

Journalist, editor, and playwright best known as the entertainment editor in games and film for IGN. She is also a decorated playwright, earning titles like the Chapman Tripp Theatre Award and Wellington Fringe Festival's Best of Fringe 2010.

She earned her bachelors and masters in film, theater, and scriptwriting from Victoria University of Wellington.

In addition to IGN, she has worked as a writer an editor for Sidhe Interactive, NZGamer.com, and Future Publishing.

Originally a native of New Zealand, she later lived in Sydney, Australia.

Both she and Andre Segers have written for the gaming network IGN.
