ABOUT LUíS CASTRO

Former men's right-back that played soccer professionally for 17 years. After retiring in 1997, he then began his professional coaching career with R.D. Águeda. A few decades later, he signed a multi-year deal with the Al-Nassr Football Club in 2023.

He first began his youth soccer career with Vieirense as a teenager. He then joined the U.D. Leiria youth ranks.

As a manager, he has won championships in Ukraine, Brazil, Portugal, and Qatar. His soccer fame has led him to amass over 490,000 followers on his luis_castro_official Instagram page.

He was born and raised in Vila Real, Portugal.

He coached Cristiano Ronaldo while at Al Nassr FC during the 2023 club season.
