ABOUT LOUIS DELAND
Ballet dancer, choreographer and singer, most recognized as the first native male star involved with the Royal Swedish Ballet.
He was born to mother Louise-Antoine Deland, who worked as a the hairdresser to Queen Sophia Magdalena of Denmark.
When he was 40, his career ended abruptly after contracting a condition that made him lose memory and the ability to dance.
He was married twice: first to Carolina Kuhlman and next to Maria Rebecka Rydberg.
He and hockey player Peter Forsberg are both originally from Sweden.
