ABOUT LOU SABAN
Journeyman coach in the AFL, the NFL, and the NCAA. He coached the Denver Broncos from 1967 to 1971 and Buffalo Bills for two stints from 1962 to 1965 and 1972 to 1976.
He played football at Indiana University and in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns.
He was president of the New York Yankees, and was praised by the team's owner George Steinbrenner .
He had seven children with his wife Joyce.
In 1973, he coached the Washington Redskins' star running back O.J. Simpson as he ran more than 2,000 rushing yards.
