Comedic actor who was named the 1995 Thailand National Artist for Performing Arts. He appeared in a number of films, including Ngern, Ngern, Ngern.
He learned to play Thai musical instruments as a child before later working on a river pier, and serving in the Royal Thai Army.
He once won a best actor award at the Thailand National Film Association Awards.
He had three children with his wife.
He and Sombat Metanee both became prominent Thai actors.
