ABOUT LIZA TREYGER
Ukrainian-American comedian, actress, producer and podcast host known for her self-deprecating comedy and body positive jokes. She appeared in Judd Apatow 's 2020 film The King of Staten Island . She appeared in the web series Horace and Pete. She hosted That's Messed Up: An SVU Podcast on Exactly Right Media.
She attended Niles North High School, where she was the class clown. She briefly attended Iowa State University and Columbia College Chicago before transferring to North Park University. She began performing standup at an open-mike event as a student at North Park University.
She appeared on television shows including Late Night with Seth Meyers , Chelsea Lately and Lights Out with David Spade . She had a half hour special and album Glittercheese with Comedy Central. She appeared in a Netflix special as part of The Degenerates. She was featured on Variety's 2017 Top 10 comics to watch list.
As a child, she migrated from Ukraine to Chicago with her parents during the breakup of the Soviet Union in 1990. She is Jewish.
