She was a psychology and pre-med major at Emory University before completing graduate work at Johns Hopkins University.
She previously worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative. She launched her own high fashion, business couture collection called The Lisa Nicole Collection.
She married Dr. Darren Naugles and has children named DJ and Amira.
She starred in Married to Medicine alongside Mariah Huq .
