ABOUT LIONEL BLAIR

British actor and comedian became known for his captain role on the comedic game show Give Us a Clue. He made regular appearances on TV as both a dancer and entertainer during the 1960s and 1970s. He lived until the old age of 92.

He performed in West End theater productions after graduating form the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

He also hosted British TV's Name That Tune. In addition to being a dancer, he was a dance choreographer.

He had three children and two grandchildren with his long-time wife Susan.

He had a supporting role in the 2012 comedy Run for Your Wife with Danny Dyer .
