American actress who played Velda, the secretary to Stacy Keach's title character, in the television series Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer and its follow up series, The New Mike Hammer.
She started her career in entertainment as a beauty pageant contestant, claiming a title of Miss Omaha in 1968, the title of Miss Utah in 1969, third place in a Miss USA pageant as Miss Arizona, and fourth place in the 1973 Miss International Pageant as Miss USA.
She refused to pose nude for Playboy magazine claiming in no way would it help escalate her career.
She was born in Omaha, Nebraska where she won her first pageant.
In 1987, she appeared for the second of two appearances on the game show Super Password alongside Jack Carter as one of the other contestants.
