ABOUT LINDA SEMBRANT

Swedish soccer player known for playing as a defender for the Italian Women's Soccer club Juventus and for the Swedish women's national team. She played for Sweden in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup, the 2012 Summer Olympics, and the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.

When she was 4 years old she wanted to be a star in figure skating, and during the 1990s she devoted herself extensively to figure skating. At the time, she also played soccer and field hockey but her passion was in skating. When she was about 8 years old she fell in love with soccer after attending an inspiring training session and switched to dedicating herself to soccer. She made her national and professional team debut against England in February 2008.

She has been endorsed and sponsored by Adidas. She broke her nose during a particularly challenging game in 2023 and had to have surgery on it. She speaks Swedish, English, and Italian.

She was born and raised in Uppsala, Sweden.

She fell in love with playing soccer after attending a soccer training session with Peter Gerhardsson . Her role model growing up was Henrik Larsson .
