Stage and screen actress most well known for her portrayal of Pam Coker in the long-running English soap opera EastEnders .
She didn't make her acting debut until later in life, appearing in the 2004 film The Football Factory alongside Danny Dyer and Frank Harper .
A talented theatre actress, she shared the stage with Judi Dench and Dan Stevens in the West End's production of Hay Fever.
She was married to late guitarist Alan Blakley until his death in 1996. They had two daughters, Kirsten and Claudie , the latter of whom is also an actor.
In EastEnders, she portrayed the wife of Roger Sloman 's character Les Coker.
