As a young child he had to overcome learning disabilities. Later, he attended Pedare Christian College.
He has also gained fame on his mrliamstapleton TikTok page, where he has over 500,000 followers. He does voice impersonations of a number of famous people in his posts.
He is married to Sarah Crisanti.
He and his friend Ben Harvey briefly replaced Matt Okine and Alex Dyson hosting the Triple J Breakfast show.
