ABOUT LIAM HICKS

Big league catcher was that taken by the Texas Rangers as a ninth rounder in the 2021 MLB Draft. He was eventually acquired by the Detroit Tigers via trade in July 2024. He has also played for the Miami Marlins during his MLB career.

He previously played college baseball at Mineral Area Community College. He later transferred to Arkansas State University.

As a kid coming up, he was a huge fan of the Toronto Blue Jays . At the time, he was a huge fan of Vernon Wells .

He grew up living with his parents and his brother, Connor. While in college, they both played baseball.

He was once packaged in a trade for Carson Kelly .
