ABOUT LIAM BUCKLEY
Irish soccer manager and former player who has coached St. Patrick's Athletic to League of Ireland, FAI Cup and Leinster Senior Cup titles, among others. As a player, he was voted Shamrock Rovers Player of the Year two straight years in 1981 and 1982.
He was born in Dublin and began his career with Shelbourne in the League of Ireland in 1978.
He was named the Soccer Writers Association of Ireland Personality of the Year for 2009 and 2013.
He married a woman named Orlaith.
He and Pat Fenlon have both been managers for the Shamrock Rovers.
