ABOUT LIAM BARRY
Played for the NEC Green Rockets and Kubota Spears. He later became coach of the New Zealand national team.
He was first chosen for the All Blacks at age 22, for their tour of England and Scotland.
He became the North Harbour head coach in 2011.
He, his father, and his grandfather constituted the first family from which three generations of All Blacks were sprung.
He and former footballer John Kirwan both coached the Blues in Super Rugby.
