At age 11, she earned her black belt in Kempo Karate.

In 2019, she graduated from the University of Southern California with dual business tax and accounting degrees. She worked at Deloitte, where she specialized in private equity and venture capital.

She said she was "130% ready" to marry her girlfriend Rae Cheung-Sutton. But her relationship was at a standstill, so she signed up for the Netflix series.
