Pop singer and sister of Aaron Carter and Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter who had a record deal with Dreamworks Records but never actually had an album released. She released two of her own singles in the early 2000s.
She had a song called "Like Wow!" that premiered at number 99 of the Billboard Hot 100 that would've been the title song of her album had it been released.
She was pronounced dead on arrival at the Westfield Memorial Hospital in New York following a reported overdose. She appeared in the TV series House of Carters in 2006.
She was married to Mike Ashton and had a daughter named Alyssa in 2011.
Her brother Nick described her death on the Dr. Phil Show as the most horrific news he ever heard.
