ABOUT LENYN SOSA

Professional shortstop and middle infielder that was first signed by the Chicago White Sox as an international talent in July 2016. Following the 2022 regular season, he was named the fourth best MLB prospect in the White Sox farm system.

Initially, he began his professional career playing for the AZL White Sox rookie affiliate team. He was only a teenager at the time of his debut.

He made his official major league debut playing against the Baltimore Orioles on June 23, 2022. A few days later, he collected his first MLB hit on June 26th.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela.

He played alongside José Abreu during his MLB debut.
