ABOUT LEE ROBERTS
Western and Hollywood Golden Age actor who is best known for his roles in The Lone Ranger and The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin. He appeared in over 100 films between 1943 and 1959, as good guys and bad guys, cowboys and sheriffs.
He was born as Robert Lee Allen, and his father was a bookkeeper in southern Texas.
In 1959, he disappeared in Los Angeles and was no longer seen on screen. He amassed over 150 different acting credits throughout his long career.
He was once married to Evelyn Finley, who starred with him in Perils of the Wilderness.
He is a legend of the old western, much like John Wayne and Gary Cooper .
