ABOUT LEE FANG

American journalist who made a name for himself as an investigative reporter for the online news publication The Intercept. He's also worked as a reporting fellow at The Nation Institute and as a writer for the Republic Report.

He received his bachelor's degree in government and politics from the University of Maryland in 2009.

He shared a 2018 Izzy Award presented by the Park Center for Independent Media.

He's from Prince George's County, Maryland but later moved to San Francisco.

He exposed the controversial practices of businessman Charles Koch in a 2011 article titled The Contango Game: How Koch Industries Manipulates the Oil Market for Profit.
