ABOUT LAURIE KELLER

Bestselling American children's author and illustrator known for her imaginative and popular stories, including Do Unto Otters: A Book about Manners, Potato Pants!, and The Scrambled States of America. She posts some of her illustrations to her lalalaurikeller Instagram page. She briefly worked as an illustrator and card designer for Hallmark Cards.

She received a degree in illustration from the Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University. She moved on to work at Hallmark Cards, where she was a greeting card artist for nine years.

She began illustrating for Nickelodeon in 1997, later directing for the channel as well. Her book Do Unto Otters: A Book About Manners was Amazon.com's #1 Editor's Pick on their Best Books of 2007 list. She landed a publishing deal with Henry Holt & Co. Books for Young Readers.

She was born and raised in Muskegon, Michigan.

Her book Arnie the Donut was also released on DV, narrated by Michael McKean .
