Lauren Hart
ABOUT LAUREN HART
Singer and recording artist most well known for her performances of "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "O Canada" at Philadelphia Flyers games. She is also the daughter of former television and radio announcer Gene Hart.
It was in second grade that she fell in love with singing and music and not long after found a passion for hockey. Into college, she went on to study music at Temple University before leaving to start her own band.
In 2005, she was voted Best Anthem Singer in NHL history by a Hockey News poll.
Her husband is Todd Carmichael, the entrepreneur behind the LA Colombe coffee chain.
She has performed a duet of "God Bless America" several times at games with taped versions of Kate Smith .
