Laura Freigang

ABOUT LAURA FREIGANG

Professional forward and midfielder that began playing professionally in Germany in 2014. She initially signed her first professional contract with TSV Schott Mainz football club. A few years later, she signed a multi-year deal with Bundesliga team Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018.

She played two years of college soccer at Penn State University . During her sophomore season, she was named to the Big Ten All-Academic team.

She has represented the German women's national team during the 2021 UEFA Women's EuroCup as well as the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifiers during her professional career. While playing against Montenegro, she scored her first international goal in a 3-0 victory.

Although she was born in Kiel, Germany she grew up living with her family in the town of Oppenheim. She has three siblings.

She is a former Penn State collegiate athlete just like Saquon Barkley .
