English singer and activist known for competing on BBC One's The Voice (UK) in 2015. She sang tracks including Billie Holiday 's "God Bless The Child" and Coldplay 's "God Put A Smile Upon Your Face." She also performed "There Are Worse Things I Could Do" from the musical Grease . She founded So Naturally Divine, a beauty brand which she sold in markets across London.
She left home at age 12 and spent some time living on the streets. She shared her experience of being assaulted while she was homeless.
She was a youth worker for a musical charity working with disadvantaged children. She was a spoken word poet.
She was nicknamed Flo by her friends. She has Chinese heritage.
Her musical inspirations are Amy Winehouse , Tupac Shakur , Erykah Badu and Aretha Franklin .
