ABOUT LA MATERIALISTA

Born Yameiry Infante Honoret and better known by her performance alias of "La Materialista," this Dominican hip-hop artist received the 2012 Q Award for "Best Urban Artist." She released one solo album titled To Another Level. She has been recording music since 2004.

Early in her career, she performed at the Miss Venezuela pageant.

An actress and model as well as a musician, she appeared in the 2014 film Lotoman 003. She appeared in a total of 4 movies as an actress.

She was born and raised in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

She and fellow Dominican rapper Don Miguelo were both nominated for numerous Soberano Awards.
