ABOUT KYLE GIBSON

Professional pitcher that was drafted by the Minnesota Twins during the first round of the 2009 MLB Draft. He was acquired by the Philadelphia Phillies via trade in July 2021. He was named to his first career All-Star game in 2021.

He began his professional career playing for the Twins' single-A affiliate team the Fort Myers Miracles.

He made his major league debut pitching against the Kansas City Royals on June 29, 2013 as a member of the Twins.

He is a native of Greenfield, Indiana. He lives with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children.

He was named to the 2021 American League all star team, just like Joey Gallo and Shohei Ohtani .
