He began his professional career playing for the Vermont Lake Monsters of the New York-Penn League.

He made his major league debut pitching against the New York Yankees on July 25, 2020.

He is a native of Detroit, Michigan.

He played alongside Patrick Corbin as a member of the Nationals during the 2020 MLB season.
