ABOUT KYLE FARMER

Catcher and infielder who came up through the Los Angeles Dodgers's farm system. He was promoted to the major leagues in July of 2017, making his debut in a game against the San Fransisco Giants.

He played shortstop at the University of Georgia. He was a 35th-round pick of the New York Yankees in 2012, but didn't sign with the team. He was then selected by the Dodgers in the 8th round of the 2013 MLB Draft.

He was cast as a high school quarter back in The Blind Side. His first major league hit was an walk-off double against the Giants.

He got engaged to Courtney Sayer in 2017.

He joined catchers Yasmani Grandal and Austin Barnes on the Dodgers's roster in 2017.
