MLB pitcher who played for the California Angels and Philadelphia Phillies in 1991, 1992, 1995, and 1996.

He led California State University, Long Beach to the school's first College World Series, in 1989.

After playing for the Angels and Phillies, he played professionally in Japan, before returning to MLB to play for each team once more.

He married Kathy Abbott early in his career.

He played on a 1995 Phillies team that included star pitcher Curt Schilling .
